Lincoln Police Department report for Wednesday, Oct. 14

  • Routson, Jason L., 22-year-old male, New Holland; arrested Oct. 13 at 100 S. Kickapoo St.; Class A -- driving while license suspended

Logan County Sheriff's Department reports for Wednesday, Oct. 14

  • Miller, Alex M., 25-year-old male, Emden; arrested Oct. 14 at 911 Pekin St.; Logan County warrant, failure to appear -- driving under the influence; $3,000, 10 percent

  • Walton, Christopher, 40-year-old male, Mount Pulaski; arrested Oct. 14 in the 100 block of Route 121; Class A -- driving under the influence

Thursday reports

Lincoln Police Department reports for Thursday, Oct. 15

Vehicle damage on Oct. 11 at 4:14 a.m.; Interstate 55 business loop southbound, 250 feet north of Broadwell Drive

--David L. Mann Sr., male, 52, of Riverton; 2002 Ford F350 Series

Mann was traveling south on Lincoln Parkway in the outside lane and struck a male deer approximately 250 feet north of Broadwell Drive. Mann's vehicle received light damage.

Hit-and-run on Oct. 6 at 4:47 p.m.; South Sherman Street, 72 feet south of Broadway Street

--Marilyn R. Weingarz, female, 69, of Lincoln; 2005 Ford 500

Weingarz called Logan Dispatch and said that her vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run accident while parked at the Towne House Beauty Salon. Weingarz said somebody backed into her rear bumper. The owner and vehicle that struck Weingarz's vehicle have not been identified. Deputy Kuhlman of the Logan County Sheriff's Office went to the Weingarz residence, confirmed the damage to the vehicle and verified automobile insurance.

  • Caldwell, Amanda J., 26-year-old female, Lincoln; arrested Oct. 14 on College Avenue at Keokuk Street; Logan County warrant -- failure to appear; $2,000, 10 percent, Class A -- possession of drug paraphernalia, Class C -- possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams
