[October 19, 2009]  Trailing 20-24, the Red Lions of Lincoln Christian University rallied to win the third game 31-29 to wrap up their three-game volleyball sweep of the Crusaders of Maranatha Baptist Bible College on Saturday afternoon at the Laughlin Center. LCU had won the first two games 25-12 and 25-21.

In the third game, behind the serving of Lincoln High School graduate Jamie McFadden, the Red Lions tied the score at 24-24 and then the teams traded points until the final 31-29. 

The Red Lions got big games from Krystine Schnautz with 20 kills, one assist and four digs; Adriane Tschantz, 11 kills, one dig and one block; Jamie McFadden, 12 kills, eight digs and one block; Nicki Wingfield, five kills and two blocks; and Rachel Langseth, three kills and three digs. Megan Callahan had 15 digs and 46 assists, and Jessica Crowl contributed 12 digs.

LCU, now 17-6, will play at Principia College on Tuesday.
