Dolores Lewis

[October 19, 2009]  Dolores N. Lewis, 73, of Lincoln, died Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, at 4:45 a.m. at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mount Pulaski.

Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Allen Dean officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in New Union Cemetery.

Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker.

She was born May 25, 1936, in California, Pa., to John and Julia Romainville Kromer. She married Lee Lewis on Dec. 20, 1958, in Lincoln. He preceded her in death on May 19, 2001.

She is survived by three sons, Edward Lewis of Springfield, Richard Lewis of Springfield and Lee (and Debbie) Lewis of Lincoln; one daughter, Kathy (and Kevin) Letterle of Mount Pulaski; four sisters, Norma Burkey of Hershey, Pa., Anna Marie (and Bob) Kloblefiech of Burton, Ohio, Alice Crawford of California, Pa., and her twin, Olive Berish of California, Pa.; four grandchildren, Korey (and Rebekah) Letterle, Kody Letterle, Jeremy Lewis and Susie (and Justin) Frye; and three great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, John Kromer.

Memorials may be made to Memorial Home Services Hospice or the donor's choice.
