Norma Clark Wilkerson

[October 26, 2009]  Norma J. Clark Wilkerson, 83, of Lincoln, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at 2:10 p.m. at her home.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Pastor Tony Shuff and Father James Cravens officiating. Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in New Union Cemetery.

She was a mental health technician at Lincoln Developmental Center for 30 years.

She was born Dec. 6, 1925, in Lincoln to Reginald and Helen Routson Clark. She married Raymond Camel and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by five children, Rhea (and Fred) Moushon of Urbana, Steven Camel of Tulsa, Okla., Raymond Lynn (and Rita) Camel of Richmond, Texas, Karen (and John) Sandel of Lincoln and David (and Darlene) Wilkerson of Lincoln; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Virgina Barry, and one son, Kevin Wiggers.

She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Lincoln and Beta Sigma Phi.

Memorials may be made to Neighbors to Nations Community Church or Trinity Episcopal Church.
