Carolyn Miller

[October 28, 2009]  LATHAM -- Carolyn A. Miller, 82, of Latham, died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at 10:10 p.m. at Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kevin Treptow and Father Thomas Shaw officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery.

Mrs. Miller was a homemaker, wife and mother.

She was born Feb. 22, 1927, in Beverly Hills, Calif., to Glenn and Myrtle Collier Bradshaw. She married William J. Miller in Decatur on June 10, 1950. He preceded her in death on April 14, 2005.

She is survived by two sons, Mark (and Kathy) Miller of Chestnut and Chris (and Jane) Miller of Nashville, Tenn.; one daughter, Marianne Mascio of Woodridge; one sister, Gloria Kiick of Latham; seven grandchildren, Andrew (and Amanda) Miller of Springfield, Elizabeth Miller of Chicago, Jillian and Lisa Mascio of Woodridge, Joseph (and Hannah) Miller of St. Paul, Minn., and Adele and Jerome Miller of Nashville, Tenn.; one great-grandchild, Drake Miller of Springfield; and nieces and nephews Cheryl Kiick (and Miguel) Durban of Decatur and Brad (and Debbie) Kiick of Latham.

Funeral Director

She was a member of Latham United Methodist Church, and memorials may be made to the church.
