Comments from LC coach Mark Tippett:
"Aside from the passing breakdown that led to the lopsided score
in set two, we played them fairly evenly all night. Sets one and
three were back-and-forth battles that saw several lead changes,
and, unfortunately for us, they were able to grab the lead at the
right time and win in three sets.
"Both teams volleyed the ball well, but RMC was a little sharper
defensively. On several occasions we hit the ball well, only to see
them scramble to keep the rally going until we made an error."
Lincoln College begins their conference schedule next week with a
home matchup against Springfield College of Illinois on Wednesday
evening at 6.
