West Lincoln-Broadwell (5-4)
defeated Normal Metcalf 13-4 on Thursday evening behind five innings
of two-hit pitching by Brock Byrge. Byrge allowed only one earned
run, while the Wolverine defense turned four double plays. Payton
Ebelherr had three hits and three runs scored. Daniel Hemenway had
two hits, including a double, and four RBIs. Sam Tiffany had a
double and an RBI.
