Dear Editor: It seems that there are many unanswered questions
regarding the proposed health care plan. But let's keep in mind that
there is no plan that is being voted on as of yet.
I don't believe our president will sign a bill that in any way
will undermine the level of care for anyone. The majority of people
elected President Obama and were in favor of a health care plan that
covers everyone. So let the process roll forth and let's see what
the final bill looks like before we rush to judgment.
One thing is certain: Our health system is broken. Regardless
what happens in Washington, there has to be reform -- guidelines for
insurance companies, tort reform for frivolous lawsuits and the way
we deliver health care in this country and more emphasis on
preventive medicine.
