Margaret Mayerchik

[September 21, 2009]  MOUNT PULASKI -- Margaret Anna Mayerchik, 93, of Mount Pulaski, formerly of Harvey, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, at 5 a.m. at Vonderlieth Living Center.

There will be a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski, with Pastor Mark Drews officiating.

There is no visitation.

Burial will be in Mount Greenwood Cemetery, Chicago.

Miss Mayerchik had been an office employee for a factory in Chicago.

She was born Feb. 23, 1916, at Harvey to Joseph and Anna Varsik Mayerchik.

She is survived by a cousin, Ellen Mayerchik Curtis of Mount Pulaski.

A brother, Arthur P. Mayerchik, and a cousin, Betty Jane Mayerchik King, preceded her in death.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Mount Pulaski and a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Harvey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church in Mount Pulaski or the LCMS Joint Seminary Fund, St. Louis, Mo.
