Lincoln Community High School students are learning to arc weld. Students will use one-eighth-inch stick rods on flat beads, fillet joints, lap joints, vertical and overhead joints. The students are grinding years of old weld off the tabletops to improve the grounding of the welding connections. Mig welding and oxy-acetylene welding are also under way in this hands-on welding class.
