Her body has been cremated and no visitation is
scheduled.
Her graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday,
Oct. 2, at Zion Cemetery, with Pastor S.M.
Davis officiating.
Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta is in
charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Smith worked at Lincoln Development Center
and the Cracker Barrel.
She was born May 31, 1952, in Decatur to the Rev.
Joseph and Mary Shaw Lindsey. She married Charles
Smith Jr. in Lincoln on Sept. 19, 1981.
She is survived by her husband; one son, Mike
(and Tracey) Lindsey of Hartsburg; two stepsons,
Scotty Smith and Ricky Smith, both of Arkansas; two
brothers, Joe (and Terri) Lindsey of Mount Zion and
Jim (and Mary) Lindsey of Decatur; and one sister,
Mary Fulk of Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two
brothers, one sister and one stepson.
