[April 20, 2010]  JACKSONVILLE -- The Lynx belted out five home runs in the first three innings of their game against Illinois College on Wednesday, but that wasn't enough run support. Lincoln walked nine Blueboys and hit one. The free bases were a large factor in the Blueboys' 17 runs.

The Lynx did make a late rally in the top of the eighth, scoring four, but the game was called due to darkness. The final was 17-16.

LCHS grad Jason Rohrer (1-3, HR), Xavier Gomez (3-5, 2B, HR, SB), Nathan Blessman (3-6, 2B, HR), and Tyler Wallin (2-3, 2HR) were all main contributors to the offensive outbreak for the Lynx.

Lincoln College will travel to Augustana next week on Wednesday.

Today (Friday) Lincoln College baseball is hosting a Little Lynx Baseball Camp. For information, click here and contact the Lincoln College baseball office.
