[April 20, 2010]  There will be a BCA pool tournament at Pool Hall Junkies on April 10, starting at 9:30 a.m.

HardwarePool Hall Junkies is located at 1909 N. Kickapoo St. in Lincoln, next to Legends Sports Bar. Pool Hall Junkies is owned and operated by Gus Otto. It is the "home" of the Logan County BCA.

The tournament will follow Billiard Congress of America rules: 64-person tournament, race to two, full double elimination. Coin toss for first break, loser breaks second game, coin toss for third game (if needed).

There is a $20 entry fee, with $3 green fee included.

The 100 percent payout is based upon the number of entries.

There will be 25-cent practice tables. Food and drinks will be available. There will also be a 50/50 drawing, pool cue raffle and silent auction.

This tournament is also a fundraiser to help fund two local teams that are playing in the National BCA Championship in Las Vegas May 14-22.

A fire destroyed the businesses April 1, 2009, and the rebuilding took longer than expected, so the Lincoln BCA League session was shortened, causing less funds to be available for teams playing in the world competition.

Please preregister and prepay at Pool Hall Junkies, 1909 N. Kickapoo St., Lincoln, IL 62656.
