Larry Anderson

[April 23, 2010]  LINCOLN -- Larry L. Anderson, 70, of Lincoln, died Thursday, April 22, 2010, at 12:58 a.m. at The Christian Village.

The family will have a private graveside service at Zion Cemetery, with Dustin Fulton officiating.

There is no visitation.

The family invites everyone to a luncheon at the American Legion in Lincoln at 3 p.m. Monday.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Mr. Anderson was a retired union plumber.

He was born Aug. 22, 1939, in Lincoln. His parents were Orville R. and Julia Shalla Anderson. He was married to Rosetta Dahman of Lincoln for 17 years and later married to Darlene Thompson of Lincoln for 17 years, a longtime companion for 34 years.

He is survived by three daughters, Rebecca (and Paul) Foster of Escondido, Calif., Diana Anderson-Zucco of Taylorville and Marsha (and Jeff) March of Lincoln; four brothers, Robert (and Doris) Anderson of Lincoln, identical twin Gary Anderson of Carbondale, Ronald (and Nancy) Anderson of Loami and Kenneth (and Jo) Anderson of Lincoln; two sisters, Joyce (and Marvin) Board of Lincoln and Carol (and David) Young of Lincoln; and three grandchildren, Ryan and Julie Foster, and Britany March.

Funeral Director

He was preceded in death by one brother, Walter E. "Bugs" Anderson.

He attended Jefferson Street Christian Church.

Memorials may be made to the memory loss unit at Christian Village.
