LINCOLN -- Ruth Farrell, 92, of
Lincoln, formerly of St. Louis, Mo., died Tuesday, April 27, 2010,
at 10:30 a.m. at Maple Ridge Care Centre. |

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at
the funeral home. Burial will be in Two Mile Grove Cemetery, rural
Latham.
Mrs. Farrell was a registered nurse.
She was born May 11, 1917, in Latham. Her parents
were August and Ocie Skelton Lee. She married
Gilbert E. Farrell on Aug. 1, 1937, in Hartsburg,
and he preceded her in death on March 22, 2008.
She is survived by one son, Gilbert L. Farrell of
Paragould, Ark.; one daughter, Diana Lee Yokley of
Lake St. Louis, Mo.; three grandchildren, Sue Dixon,
Janet Hayward and Sandra Swanson, all of Illinois;
12 great-grandchildren; three
great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and
nephews, all of Illinois.
She was also preceded in death by four sisters
and one son, David Farrell.
She was a member of St. Andrew Presbyterian
Church of St. Louis, Mo. |
The family thanks the staff at Maple Ridge Care
Centre for their loving care during Ruth's stay.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart
Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
