Dean Henrichsmeyer

[April 28, 2010]  LINCOLN -- Dean E. Henrichsmeyer, 63, of Lincoln, died Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

A memorial visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln, with a memorial service immediately following at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at a later date at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Riverton.

Mr. Henrichsmeyer retired from Lincoln Correctional Center after more than 20 years of service. He was also employed at Hayes Auto Supply in Mount Pulaski for nine years.

He served in the U.S. Navy.

He was born April 20, 1947, in Springfield. His parents were Roy and Alice Theobald Henrichsmeyer. He married Sheron Landon on Dec. 29, 1972, in New Holland.

He is survived by his wife, of Lincoln; three sons, R. Dean (and his wife, Krista) Henrichsmeyer of Bloomington, Mark W. Henrichsmeyer of Lincoln and John M. Henrichsmeyer of Lincoln; five grandchildren; one sister, Karen A. Fletcher of Cornland; and one brother, David Henrichsmeyer of Lincoln.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Directors

He was a member of Neighbors to Nations Community Church.

Memorial donations may be made to the Dean Henrichsmeyer family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
