[April 29, 2010]  Fire disaster relief and recovery support continues for the family that lost their home to fire in Emden.

The Salvation Army of Logan County is calling for additional assistance from the larger community to quickly locate available residential rental properties within the Hartsburg-Emden school district.

Property owners, real estate brokers and property managers who have property available on or before May 6 are urged to contact Rebecca Van Nydeggen at 217-732-7890, by fax to 217-732-1302 or by e-mail to Rebecca_Van_Nydeggen@usc.salvationarmy.org.

Additionally, property owners or managers with residential rental properties in and around San Jose, Middletown or New Holland are also asked to contact Van Nydeggen.

Properties in those areas are sought if the available occupancy date falls between June 15 and Aug. 15.

More information will be provided as it is available.
