Maxine Finfrock

[August 17, 2010]  LINCOLN -- Maxine A. Finfrock, 85, of Lincoln, died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, at 2 a.m. at St. Clara's Manor in Lincoln.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Burial will be in Richmond Grove Cemetery, New Holland.

Mrs. Finfrock had been a hostess at The Tropics and was also employed at Williams Jewelry.

She was born Nov. 15, 1924, in New Holland. Her parents were Daniel and Lula Korfhage Harnacke. She married Charles W. Finfrock on June 30, 1940, in St. Charles, Mo. He preceded her in death on June 29, 2006.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Linda S. Spaits.

She is survived by two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her son-in-law, Marvin Spaits; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln, a past member of the New Holland Women's Club and the New Holland Home Bureau.
