[December 08, 2010]  LINCOLN -- Magnus Eugene Hopp, 67, of Lincoln, died Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, at 7:03 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

He was cremated.

Arrangements are being handled by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Mr. Hopp worked as a forklift operator for Verallia and for Precision Products.

He was born April 14, 1943, in Wyanet. His parents were Magnus J. and Bertha Philhower Hopp.

He is survived by his siblings, Daniel (and Harriet) Hopp of Lincoln, Wanita (and Frank) Przykopanski of Lincoln, Doris Spencer of Atlanta, Robert Hopp of Springfield and Sharon (and Bill) Kennett of Broadwell.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was a member of the glass bottle blowers' union.
