Accident occurred on Illinois Route 10-121 at North College Street.

Ruben, Charles E., 57, Emden; 2008 Dodge Ram pickup
Ruben said he was stopped on Woodlawn, just west of the intersection with North College Street, due to heavy equipment tearing down the gas station on the corner.
Simpson said he had the green light at the intersection and proceeded through. Not noticing that Ruben was stopped, he rear-ended him.
Witnesses to the accident said the heavy equipment was not in the roadway but very close, with no safety personnel assisting motorists.
Dec. 17, 10:17 a.m.
Accident occurred on the Route 66 beltway at North Kickapoo Street.

Schaler, Melanie S., 36, Lincoln; 2000 Ford Ranger pickup

Pokorski, David P., 50, Lincoln; 1995 Ford F-150 pickup
Schaler was turning onto Route 66 from Kickapoo, while Pokorski was eastbound on 66. Schaler failed to yield, pulling into the path of Pokorski, and was struck.
Schaler was ticketed for the incident.
Dec. 17, 6:22 p.m.
Accident occurred in the 1600 block of North Kickapoo, at the Eagles.

Miller, Marilee, 56, of Petersburg; 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier
The Miller vehicle was parked unattended in the lot at the Eagles. Witnesses offered an account that Hurley struck the Miller vehicle while backing out of a spot adjacent to it. Hurley was called to return to the scene, where she said that apparently she turned too short while backing.
She was ticketed for failure to give information regarding the accident.
Dec. 18, 12:15 a.m.
Accident occurred in the 100 block of 11th Street.

Rader, Douglas L., 58, of Lincoln; 2002 Chevrolet C/K 1500 crew cab
The vehicle owned by Rader was parked facing west on 11th Street. Maier said he was driving along the street when his vehicle slid on ice and struck the side of the Rader vehicle.
Dec. 18, 9:03 a.m.
Accident occurred on Pulaski Street at South Chicago.

Bartelmay, Nicole L., 19, Lincoln; 2002 Buick Park Avenue
Witt was southbound on Chicago with Bartelmay coming from the east on Pulaski. Witt failed to yield at the stop sign and struck Bartelmay.

Accident occurred at an unknown location.
- Meagher, Pamela S., 39, Lincoln; 2007 Chevrolet C/K 1500 crew cab
Meagher said she could not be certain when or where her vehicle was hit by an unknown driver. She said she parked her truck at her home on Dec. 17, and the next day she noted damage to the driver's side of the vehicle, from the cab area all the way to the rear bumper.

Accident occurred in the 800 block of Malerich Drive (Walmart).

The two vehicles were parked opposite one another. Both drivers commenced backing out of their spaces and collided in the center of the driving lane.

Accident occurred at an unknown location.
- Sherrer, Connie L., 58, of Lincoln; 2005 Dodge Durango
Sherrer said she couldn't be sure when an unknown vehicle struck
and damaged her vehicle, but it may have happened while parked at
her residence. She noted that she had driven the vehicle on Dec. 17
and upon returning home parked just off the alley at her residence.
On Dec. 18 she noted damage to the front driver's side of her
vehicle.
Dec. 18, 8:29 p.m.
Accident occurred in the 600 block of Woodlawn Road.

The vehicle owned by Rader was parked unoccupied in the lot at
Walgreens when Vehicle 1, backing from a space opposite Rader,
backed into him.

Complex on a Logan County warrant for failure to appear in
answer to charge of violating a city ordinance.

Logan County warrant for failure to appear in answer to charge
of driving under the influence.

A., 29, of Lincoln arrested Dec. 17 at his residence on charge
of leaving the scene of an accident including vehicle damage.

Wright, Amber N., 26 of Hartsburg,
arrested Dec. 18 at the Logan County Safety Complex on charge of
obstructing justice and leaving the scene of an accident
including property damage.
