Patricia Snyder

[December 29, 2010]  LINCOLN -- Patricia Ann Snyder, 60, of Lincoln, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln.  Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Hoover officiating.

Mrs. Snyder was employed as a cashier at Kroger in Lincoln.  

She was born April 26, 1950, in Charlotte, N.C. Her parents were Fred and Lillie Daris Strube Setzer. She married Terry Snyder on June 25, 1976.

She is survived by her husband, of Lincoln; two daughters, Levette (and Bret) Shade of Chatham and Theresa Cline of Lincoln; one son, Jake Snyder of Lincoln; grandchildren Brianna Shade of Chatham, Abby, Emma and Andrew Cline of Lincoln, and Hayley Turner and Kevin Snyder, both of Lincoln; four sisters, Marquita Jones, Marilyn Hollingsworth and Mary Long, all of Georgia, and Libby Love of North Carolina; and one brother, Fred "Bubby" Setzer III of Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Directors

Patricia loved to sew, but her favorite hobby was loving and caring for others. She always had a kind word, a smile or some gesture of love for everyone she encountered.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to keep her spirit of love and care alive.
