[February 05, 2010]  LINCOLN -- Carol M. Aeilts, 65, of Lincoln, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, at 8:04 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Snyder officiating.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Ms. Aeilts had worked as a licensed practical nurse at Lincoln Developmental Center.

She was born March 20, 1944, in Lincoln to Donald W. and Dorothy E. Sheley Snyder.

She is survived by two sons, Brian (and Evie) Aeilts of Lincoln and Donny (and Teresa) Aeilts of Lincoln; five brothers, John W. (and Bev) Snyder of Royal, the Rev. Larry Snyder of Alexandria, Va., Richard (and Kay) Snyder of Lincoln, Robert (and Mary) Snyder of Bloomington and Tom (and Elaine) Snyder of Chillicothe; three sisters, Anita (and Gary) Tibbs of Lincoln, Wanda (and Douglas) Peterson of Nebraska and Mary M. Powell of Lincoln; and eight grandchildren, Garrett, Connor, Jaiden, Isabella, Makenzie, Deegan, Tatum and Avery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral Director

She was a member of Holy Family Church of Lincoln and vice president of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.

Memorials may be made to the family or the American Cancer Society.
