Red Lions women end season

[February 26, 2010]  GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Red Lions women's basketball team of Lincoln Christian University lost to Moody Bible Institute 88-42 in the NCCAA Division II regional tournament Thursday evening.

InsuranceThe Red Lions were led by Sheena Cooper with 20 points and 10 rebounds and Jonni McCaslin with 16 points and six rebounds. Catherine Tuley added four points and Kim Harden scored two.

The Red Lions end their season 0-19.

Moody advances to play Kuyper College in the semifinals. Kuyper advanced by defeating Emmaus Bible College. The other semifinal game will pit Northland Baptist Bible College, winners over Grace Bible College, against the No. 1 seed, Maranatha Bible College.
