[February 26, 2010]  WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The Red Lions men's basketball team from Lincoln Christian University defeated Moody Bible Institute 65-53 Thursday evening to advance to the semifinals of the NCCAA Division II Midwest Regional Tournament.

LCU will now meet Maranatha Baptist Bible College tonight (Friday) at 6.

The Red Lions were led by Jon Wallace with 17 points and 13 rebounds and Chris Lawson with 17 points.

LCU shot 44.7 percent from the field and 65.5 percent from the free-throw stripe and outrebounded Moody 33-30 to improve their season record to 18-7.

The other semifinal match will pair up Grace Bible and Kuyper College. The winners of the semis will meet for the championship Saturday at 2 p.m.
