Annabelle Klein

[January 15, 2010]  LINCOLN -- Annabelle Klein, 83, of Lincoln, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.

Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lincoln, with the Rev. Andrew Nyren officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 11 a.m. until the service time.

Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln is handling arrangements.

She was born Sept. 9, 1926, a daughter of August C. and Della Behrends Lohrenz. She married George Klein Jr. on Aug. 4, 1945, in Lincoln. He preceded her in death on April 23, 1986.

She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Marjorie Lohrenz of Lincoln and Margaret Berger of Lincoln; three nieces; four nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Victor Lohrenz and August Lohrenz, and her sister, Darlene Lohrenz.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and especially enjoyed attending the Saturday evening services there.

She enjoyed watching basketball games on television and loved to do jigsaw puzzles.

Funeral Directors

Annabelle was a sweet, soft-spoken lady who will be missed by her family, her church family and her friends.

Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
