[January 18, 2010]  LINCOLN -- Helen Evelyn Treatch, 96, of Lincoln, died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at 12:50 p.m. at Mason City Area Nursing Home, Mason City.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 22, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Dustin Fulton officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Lincoln.

Mrs. Treatch had worked as a retail salesclerk at Roberts Trading Center, Sterlings, Lord's, Landauer's and retired from Cousin Freds.

She was born July 29, 1913, in Grand Forks, N.D., to Marcus and Nellie Olson. She married George L. "Fobey" Treatch.

She is survived by one son, Richard L. (and Nancy) Treatch of Middletown; one daughter-in-law, Eva Treatch of Lincoln; eight grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Frederick; three sisters; three brothers; and four grandsons. She was the last of her immediate family.

She was a member of Lincoln Christian Church.
