Louise Hackl

[July 23, 2010]  LINCOLN -- Louise Inez Hackl, 94, of Lincoln, died Friday, July 23, 2010, at 4 a.m. at her home.

Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Ron Otto officiating. Visitation will be during the hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in New Union Cemetery.

Mrs. Hackl was a seamstress, a sales clerk at Kresge and a homemaker

She was born Nov. 1, 1915, at Eldred. Her parents were James and Permelia McKinney Mier. She married Carl L. Hackl on Nov. 27, 1939, in Indiana. He preceded her in death on March 23, 2003.

She is survived by her companion, her dog Ginger; nieces Trella (and Bob) Young of Florida, Sandy (and Frank) Quint of Tennessee, Shirley (and Bob) Wheat of Arizona, Barbara Mier of Arizona and Sandra Randolph of Arizona; nephews Paul (and Vicki) Hackl Jr. of Arizona, David (and Mary Ruth) Mier of Indiana, Donald (and Marilyn) Mier of Indiana and Jessie (and Phyllis) Robinson of Lincoln; and good friends Dolly and Bill Breen.

She was the last of her immediate family.

Funeral Director

Memorials may be made to Memorial Home Services Hospice and the Humane Society of Logan County.
