LINCOLN -- Ruby Aper, 91, of Lincoln
died Saturday, July 24, 2010, at 7:55 a.m. at her home.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St.
John's Lutheran Church in Hartsburg, with the Rev.
David Russell officiating. |
Burial will be in
Hartsburg Union Cemetery, Hartsburg.
Mrs. Aper was a homemaker.
She was born July 12, 1919, in New Holland. Her
parents were Herman and Bertha Stolzenburg
Knollenberg. She married Harold R. Aper on Nov. 28,
1942, in St. Charles, Mo. He preceded her in death
on March 8, 1998.
She is survived by one son, Larry (and Nancy)
Aper of Hartsburg; one daughter, Cheryl (and Robert)
Swords of Elmhurst; two grandsons, Dirk (and Ashley)
Aper of Hartsburg and Brad Aper of Hartsburg; two
great-grandchildren, Devin Harold and Madison Sue
Aper; three brothers, Bill Knollenberg, Norman
Knollenberg and Kenneth (and Norma) Kollenberg, all
of Lincoln; and one sister, Dorothy (and Richard)
Hampe of Lincoln.
She was also preceded in death by one brother,
Walter Knollenberg. |
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in
Hartsburg and the Ladies Aid of the church. She was
also a member of the Lin-Pro Square Dance Club.

Church of Hartsburg.
