The restoration of the Scully Building in downtown Lincoln is nearing completion. Incorporating the newest technology and looks with the old creates some dramatic effects. More pictures from this month's tour are below.

Saying goodbye. Friday evening Lois Lee (on right) said goodbye to a 30-year career with District 27 schools by throwing a party for all her friends. Lee, who is originally from the Edwardsville area, came to Lincoln in the mid-1980s to fill the position of special education administrator, overseeing all the special education programs in the district.
Now she is closing this chapter in her life and plans to return to the Edwardsville area, where her mother still lives. Lee said she was giving the party as a way to show her appreciation for all the great friends she has made in Lincoln over the years.
