owned by Conway Freight of Richmond, Ind.

Carnahan, Dale R., 75-year-old male,
Oakwood, Ohio; 2001 Volvo VNL semi
Eaton left his vehicle unattended and it rolled into the side of
the Carnahan vehicle, which was parked.
Driver backs into parked vehicle
Incident occurred on June 4 at 6:35 p.m. on North Monroe, 85 feet
north of Woodlawn Road.

51-year-old male, Lincoln; 2006 Chrysler Sebring

Curry, Kevin M., 28-year-old male,
Lincoln; 1995 Ford Ranger
The vehicle belonging to Curry was legally parked facing south on
the west side of the 1000 block of North Monroe.
Montcalm was backing north on Monroe and stuck the Curry vehicle
on the driver's side.
Distraction causes crash
Incident occurred June 5 at 5:43 p.m. on Woodlawn Road, 24 feet
east of North Monroe Street.

P., 19-year-old male, Mason City; 2004 Oldsmobile Alero level 2,
owned by Ronald Schoonover

Piro, Ronald W., 72-year-old male,
South Pekin; 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan
Piro was westbound on Woodlawn, on the outside lane. He slowed
his vehicle for traffic and was struck from behind by Schoonover.
Schoonover stated that he was distracted by ash from a cigarette
and looked away from the road, thus rear-ending Piro.
Schoonover was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions,
failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

on Class A charge of driving under the influence.
