[June 10, 2010]  Hannah Taylor, daughter of Steven and Joanna Taylor of Mishawaka, Ind., recently signed a letter of intent to enroll in Lincoln Christian University. While at LCU, Taylor will play volleyball for the Red Lions as she pursues a business degree.

InsuranceDuring Taylor's volleyball career at Jimtown and Michigan City high schools, she received the all-tourney Team Player Award twice, held the highest serving percentage, had the most blocks and assists her senior year, and maintained the highest team grade-point average two of her four years. In addition, she was a member of the National Honor Society, DECA, student council and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

She attends St. Mark Missionary Church.

LCU women's volleyball coach Jason Farr is excited to have a person of Taylor's proven academic, spiritual and athletic ability join his team. He plans to position her as a setter or right-side hitter.

LCU has made 14 consecutive trips to the NCCAA Division II women's volleyball national tournament. Since Farr came aboard the LCU program, the Red Lions have earned four tournament runner-up finishes (2004, 2006, 2008, 2009) and captured the championship crown in 2003.
