Senior Legion baseball

[June 14, 2010]  DANVILLE -- In the second day of the Danville wood bat tourney, Lincoln dropped the opener to Metamora 1-0 in eight innings and was leading Urbana 4-2 in the top of the fifth when the game was stopped due to weather.

Game 1:

Lincoln was led by Jared Daugherty in hitting with two hits.

Cory Yeazle was the tough-luck losing pitcher. He pitched the entire eight innings, giving up only the one unearned run, and struck out 12.

Game 2 was suspended in the fifth due to weather.

Riley Wolpert had two hits in the suspended game, and Tanner Smith had four strikeouts and only one earned run.
