[March 08, 2010]  LINCOLN -- Robert Vincent Kodatt, 68, of Lincoln, died Saturday, March 6, 2010, at his home.

His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln, with the Rev. Clyde Shreve officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the service time.

Burial will be Harmony Cemetery, rural Beason.

Mr. Kodatt retired from Ceco in Cicero.

He was born Dec. 29, 1941, in Detroit, Mich., to Paul August and Elva Iona Millard Kodatt.

He is survived by his mother, Elva Iona Boyd; his children, Robert F. (and Paula) Kodatt, Steven P. Kodatt, Michael S. Kodatt, Veronica (and Douglas) Hanlen, all of Lincoln, and David Kodatt of Springfield; one brother, Charles L. Kodatt of Lincoln; two sisters, Bonnie Rexroat of Atlanta and Colleen Cabit of Lincoln; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father; his stepfather, Arthur Boyd; and one brother, Paul W. Kodatt.

He was of the Baptist faith.

He was a member of the Carpenters union in Peoria.
