A graveside service for Mrs. Matthews will be at 11
a.m. Monday at the Atlanta Cemetery with the Rev.
Larry Moreau officiating. No visitation is
scheduled.
Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta is in
charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Matthews retired from Kaup's Grocery Store
and Hamblins Superette in Atlanta.
She was born on Jan. 17, 1920, in Fieldon. Her
parents were Frank R. and Edna Young Fraley.
She is survived by her sons, Robert E. Matthews
of Atlanta and Donald W. Matthews of Delavan; five
grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Rachel
Booher; one brother, Ernest F. Fraley; and one
great-granddaughter.
