[March 22, 2010]  Jarrett Poole of the Lincoln Youth Wrestling team competed in the Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation Midget state tournament in Danville on Saturday and Sunday, along with 700 youth wrestlers from all over Illinois.

Jarrett was 4-1 for the tournament, placing second in the 122-pound weight class.

He was able to avenge a loss from earlier in the season to Cameron Philabaum of Mattoon Youth Wrestling, winning 2-0, and his only loss of the weekend was to Nikola Ivanisvic of Hinsdale Youth Wrestling, 3-0.

Jarrett finished the year with a record of 34-7.

Jarrett works out of a hold as his father, Troy, and coach Walt Landers look on.
