[November 02, 2010]  LANSING, Mich. -- Three members of the 18-12 Red Lions volleyball team of Lincoln Christian University were named to the all-region team and two others were named to the all-tournament team at the NCCAA Mid-West regional tournament over the weekend.

HardwareBridget Schnautz and Jamie McFadden were named as all-region and are eligible to be named all-Americans when the national tournament is played Nov. 11-13 in Kissimmee, Fla. Lydia Bunting was also named to the all-region team.

Anna Devillez and Rachel Langseth were named to the all-tournament team, and Emily Sheley was recognized as the "Newcomer of the Year" in the Mid-West Region.

The Red Lions placed second in the regional tournament, dropping a five-game match to the No. 1-seeded Maranatha Baptist Bible College, and are waiting to see if they will receive an "at-large" bid to the national finals. LCU should receive that decision late Monday evening. (See update.)
