The Lincoln Special Olympians show off their new uniforms at the Special Olympics basketball tournament on Saturday at the Lincoln Park District. The new uniforms were made possible by funds received from this summer's poker run. With games going on and a busy Rec Center, not everyone made this team picture, so we have included another picture of the players in today's Community section.

This group of young ladies wanted to show off their new uniforms that were made possible by the generosity of the community. The Special Olympics basketball tournament had 17 teams from central Illinois competing in the games.
