To the editor: Main Street Lincoln would like to thank the
business and organizations that helped make "Trick-or-Treat with the
Mayor" a fun morning for the children.
Those who participated were The Log Cabin Quilt Shop, Pink
Shutter, Prairie Years, Abe's, Action Rental, Absolute Harmony Salon
and Day Spa, Blue Dog Inn, The Owl's Roost, The Treasure Chest,
Bryant's Arcade, Sherwin-Williams, LifePointe Church of God,
Serendipity Stitches, Dickson's Tacos and More, Cherished Memories,
Beans and Such, Styx Tat 2 Emporium Unlimited, Mary Todd's Hallmark,
MKS Jewelers Ltd., and Mission Mart.
A special thanks to Mayor Keith Snyder for leading the group and
to the chief of police, Ken Greenslate, and the executive director
of Main Street, Wanda Lee Rohlfs, for walking with the group.
It is always a fun time for all.
