Lincoln Daily News
welcomes letters of appreciation, information and
opinion on matters pertaining to the community.
Controversial issues:
As a
community we need to be able to talk openly about
matters that affect the quality of our lives. The
most effective and least offensive manner to get
your point across is to stick to the issue
and refrain from commenting on another person's
opinion. Letters that deviate from focusing on the
issue may be rejected or edited and marked as such.

To the editor: On behalf of The Salvation Army of Logan County, I
would like to thank all the volunteers who assisted with preparing
and serving the Thanksgiving Day dinner at the Knights of Columbus
on Nov. 25. On a day when many are sharing the meal with friends and
family, you stepped up and came out of the comfort of your homes and
showed up to give of your time and talents. We are immensely
thankful for your generous hearts and serving hands. May God richly
bless you all.
Rebecca Van Nydeggen
Director, The Salvation Army of Logan County
