[October 14, 2010]  LINCOLN -- Edda Jo Dye, 81, formerly of DuQuoin, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, at 6:10 p.m. at The Christian Village.

There will be no visitation.

A private family memorial service will be at a later time.

Arrangements are by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Mrs. Dye worked as a clothing saleswoman at Van Law Carol ladies’ clothing store in Decatur and at Genevieve’s Dress Shop in Lincoln.

She was born Jan. 29, 1929, in Mulkeytown. Her parents were Aldred and Cleo Dick. She married John E. Mann Jr. in 1946, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 1963. She married Donald R. Dye on Sept. 17, 1966, at Lincoln Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband, of Lincoln; two sons, Paul (and Nina) Mann of Doylestown, Pa., and Mark (and Lona) Mann of Lincoln; one daughter, Melody (and Scott) Mack of Lincoln; one brother, James Ohmann Dick of Christopher; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Lincoln Christian Church.
