Lincoln Daily News welcomes letters of appreciation, information and opinion on matters pertaining to the community.

Controversial issues:
As a community we need to be able to talk openly about matters that affect the quality of our lives. The most effective and least offensive manner to get your point across is to stick to the issue and refrain from commenting on another person's opinion. Letters that deviate from focusing on the issue may be rejected or edited and marked as such.

To the editor:

The family of Dick Logan would like to thank everyone who helped in any way to make his benefit such a huge success. We were overwhelmed at how many truly wonderful friends Dick has.

Thank you to the Knights of Columbus for putting together such a wonderful afternoon for Dick. The skit was really great and we know Dick always loved doing those in the past. Thank you to everyone who participated in that. We know there was a lot of hard work put into that.

May God bless each and every one of you for being so kind.

Dick is back in Missouri with his daughter and family and is doing OK and we hope to see him soon.

Thank you so much for everything.

Jane Perry
