No visitation is scheduled. Burial will be in Holy
Cross Cemetery.
Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln is in charge of
arrangements.
Mr. Preston retired from Eaton Corp. as a setup
man after 30 years with the company.
He was born Feb. 16, 1940, in Mason City. His
parents were John and Rosetta Hall Preston. He
married Esther Snyder Smith.
He is survived by his two daughters, Tammy (and
Eric) Curry of Lincoln and Denise Clenin of Lincoln;
one sister, Dorothy Falterman of Louisiana; six
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Rebecca
Kell; two sisters; and six brothers.
