Cub Scout Pack 111 completed a service project on Sunday for Together for Lincoln. Twenty-eight Scouts and family members joined two others from Lincoln Christian Church to wash windows and trim bushes at the home of Verlin and Zelma Parker at 509 Maywood.

"I think I'm about the first in town," said Charles Anderson. He was referring to the Halloween decorations that adorn his home on North College Street. Recently Anderson addressed the Lincoln City Council regarding the difficulty senior citizens have understanding the new technology that has been introduced by Comcast. However, Friday evening as he spoke about his decorations, it was quite clear that this gentleman is still young at heart.
