LINCOLN --
Evelyn M. Teaney, 80, of Lincoln, died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at
3:16 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln. |

Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at
Jefferson Street Christian Church with Craig Smith
and Dustin Fulton officiating. Burial will be in
Hartsburg Union Cemetery.
Mrs. Teaney was a bookkeeper for the Hartsburg-Emden
school district before she retired.
She was born Nov. 16, 1929, in Hartsburg. Her
parents were John and Margaret Lolling Swart. She
married Wendell Teaney on July 4, 1954, in
Hartsburg. He preceded her in death on Dec. 12,
1992.
She is survived by one daughter, Brenda (and
Rick) McCabe of Lincoln; one stepgrandson, Mike (and
Sarah) McCabe of Effingham; three
step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Dean (and
Larna) Swart of Delavan; and many nieces and
nephews.
She was a member of Jefferson Street Christian
Church of Lincoln, Hartsburg Legion Auxiliary and
Christian Nursing Home Auxiliary. |
Memorials may be made to Jefferson Street Christian
Church or Christian Village.
