LINCOLN -- Rodney W. Robb, 61, of
Lincoln, died April 10, 2011, at 7:01 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. His
funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral
home.Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, Beason,
with military rites by Lincoln American Legion Post
263.

Mr. Robb was a construction equipment operator
for the Illinois Department of Transportation.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He was born on Feb. 5, 1950, in Lincoln. His
parents were Wayne and Betty Jo Smalley Robb. He
married LaVerne Percefull on April 10, 2000, in
Lincoln.
He is survived by his wife, of Lincoln; his
mother, of Lincoln; one son, J.W. (and Leah) Robb of
Nashville, Tenn.; two daughters, Charlene Robb of
Lincoln and Jennifer (and Jim) Addison of San Diego,
Calif.; three stepdaughters, Sherri (and Quent)
Newton of Taylorville, Mandee Bush of Lincoln and
Katie Williamson of Taylorville; one brother, Keith
(and Terrie) Robb of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; two
sisters, Tanita Wagner of Lincoln and Brenda Loy of
Lincoln; four grandsons, Evan, Aaron, Luke and
Mason; and one granddaughter, Grace.
He was preceded in death by his father and
maternal and paternal grandparents. |
He was a member of American Legion Post 263 and the
Sportsman Club of Lincoln.
He was an avid John Wayne fan.
