Parker is taking off his costume for good as part of its "Death of
Spider-Man" story in its Ultimate Comics imprint. The publisher said
Monday that Parker, who in "Ultimate Spider-Man" is
still a high schooler in New York, is losing the red-and-blue
threads, but Marvel won't say if the teenager is in mortal peril, much less
who will replace him. What's certain is that Ultimate Spider-Man
is here to stay.
