LINCOLN --
Grace Saylor, 79, of Lincoln, died Sunday, April 24, 2011, at 12:49
a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln. Her funeral will be at 7 p.m. at the
funeral home, with Ron Otto officiating. |

Cremation will follow the service. Mrs. Saylor
worked in the deli at Kroger’s for 10 years. Then
she did home health care for 12 years.
She was born Dec. 25, 1931, in Canton. Her
parents were William and Leatha Talbert Allensworth.
She married Alvin "Bud" Saylor on Aug. 27, 1950, in
Pittsfield, and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons, Roger Saylor of
Lincoln, David Saylor of Lincoln and Greg (and Judy)
Saylor of Gravois Mills, Mo.; one daughter, Kathy
(and Roger) Miller of Lincoln; nine grandchildren;
and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents,
one brother, one sister and one grandson. |
She loved to cook and tending to all her family.
