'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?' Broadway bound

[April 27, 2011]  NEW YORK (AP) -- Edward Albee's "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" is on its way back to a Broadway stage next year.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company's production of the show will star Tracy Letts and Amy Morton as the battling couple George and Martha. It will open on Broadway on Oct. 13, 2012, exactly 50 years to the day after the play's original Broadway opening in 1962.

The theater has yet to be announced.

The production originally ran at Steppenwolf in Chicago from December 2010 to February 2011 and then transferred to Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. from February to April this year. It is directed by Pam MacKinnon.
