[August 09, 2011]  Lincoln College is planning an open house for people interested in memberships at the Scott Joslin Fitness Center. The open house will be on Aug. 19 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Aug. 20 from 9 a.m. to noon at the fitness center, which is on the second floor of the Lincoln Center on the college campus.

The open house will include tours of the fitness center and detailed information about policies and memberships. Memberships for individuals, couples and families will be available on an annual or semester basis. Memberships are available for individuals age 14 and up. Members who are between the ages of 14 and 18 must be accompanied by an adult while they use the fitness center. Everyone joining the center will be required to sign a liability waiver.

"Making the fitness center available to the Lincoln and Logan County community has been one of our goals since the Lincoln Center was completed. We are excited to now be able to offer memberships to the public," said Lincoln College President Jon Astroth.
