LINCOLN -- Doris Lucille Foster, 82, of
Lincoln, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, at 9:15 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln. Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m.
Friday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader, with the Rev. Andrew Nyren
officiating. |

Burial will be in Atlanta Cemetery. Mrs. Foster
was a homemaker and a sales clerk for Witzig's and
Decker's Shoe Store.
She was born Oct. 6, 1928, in Hoopeston. Her
parents were Marion Anthony and Lucile Marie Fagner
Dengler. She married Jack Foster on Jan. 31, 1948,
in Atlanta. He preceded her in death on Oct. 31,
2004.
She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Lynn Foster
of Lincoln and Jackie Joe (and Deb) Foster of
Elkhart; one daughter, Jill Ann (and Rodney) Alberts
of Lincoln; one brother, Marion A. Dengler of
Lincoln; four grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren; and three
great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one sister; one
great-grandson, Lucas Alberts; and one brother. |
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Memorials may be made to her church or to
Friendship Manor.
